Trinity Rep cancels remainder of season.

Trinity Rep has canceled the rest of its 2019-20 season due to the threat of the spread of coronavirus.

The shows that are affected include “A Tale of Two Cities,” and “Sweat, Sweeney Todd.”

“Based on the recommendations and policies of local and federal officials and our own commitment to the health and well-being of our community, Trinity Rep has made the difficult decision to cancel all performances of Sweat and Sweeney Todd, in addition to the previously announced cancellation of A Tale of Two Cities,” said Trinity Rep in a press release.

Context and Conversation events for each of these shows and any other related special events are also canceled.

In addition, all spring Education classes are canceled or postponed.

Ticket Holders

According to Trinity Rep, for or ticket holders of canceled A Tale of Two Cities performances, the copyright holders and the union partners have agreed to allow us to share a digital archival recording of the production via a secure online platform for a limited time.

These canceled ticketholders will receive a separate email with instructions.

According to Trinity Rep, for those who have tickets for one of the performances, you can complete this form on Trinity Rep’s website to indicate how you would like the box office to handle your order, and they will process your request as soon as possible.
